ABOUT US

 Before embracing her lifelong passion for Interior Design, Heather pursued academic studies in Accounting and Business Management at the University of Maryland and SUNY Orange. This educational foundation paved the way for a successful nine-year career as a corporate accountant in the bustling Washington DC area. However, Heather's creative inclinations soon led her to explore opportunities within the architectural industry. Securing an internship at Claus F. Rademacher Architects in Manhattan marked the beginning of this new chapter. To further hone her skills, she enrolled in the Fashion Institute of Technology's design program and later earned an A.A.S. in Interior Design from Berkeley College. Within a few short years, Heather advanced from Intern to Office Manager, Project Manager, and ultimately to business owner.  

Heather's journey into interior design began at 18 when she started renovating and designing interiors alongside her brother in their family-owned contracting business. Recognizing her innate talent, he soon entrusted her with leading interior painting and color selection projects, which quickly expanded to include material selections, furnishings, and finishes. Heather continued to manage these projects in her spare time to fund her college education, relying on word-of-mouth referrals within local communities. She takes great pleasure in getting to know her clients and excels at designing spaces that reflect their unique personalities by incorporating cherished pieces of art or furniture.  Heather is well-versed in a variety of design styles, from the rustic and industrial aesthetics popular in her Upstate New York hometown to traditional, contemporary, modern, and transitional designs. Her extensive travels around the world have further enriched her design perspective, exposing her to diverse cultures, natural resources and materials, architecture, friendships, family dynamics, and of course, innovative design concepts.
